This tour, on the far side of the Valley of Fire, is mostly off road to a
part of Nevada that is much like the surface of Mars! A true desert safari.
This is a true Desert Experience; the Red Aztec Sandstone formations are
beyond belief. We will drive down powder soft sand washes surrounded by
brilliant red mountains. In fact this area looks so much like an alien planet
that it has been used many times for Star Wars and Star Trek movies. There are
fabulous Aztec Sandstone formations, beautiful canyons and red sand dunes that
lead us to a remote box canyon which was once a sacred and spiritual place of
the Ancient Anasazi. There are wonderful panels of Ancient Indian Petroglyphs
from thousands of years ago, you can feel this was once a very special location.
