Born in Quebec City, Canada, André-Philippe
Gagnon knew very early on that he was meant to be a performer.
Starting impersonations. Actually, a trademark performance of his,
the song We Are The World, features 18 different celebrity voices within
the same composition. André-Philippe's rise to stardom began in 1985 at
the world's most renowned Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs in
Montreal.
From then on, Gagnon's fate was sealed. Subsequently, he was invited
to perform on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and appeared at
numerous international festivals entertaining thousands of fans the
world over. André-Philippe has played to sold-out crowds in Canada,
Europe, Australia and America.
Always adapting to specific audiences and cultures, André-Philippe
impersonates performers from each country where he appears, delighting
fans with local, as well as international humor.
His strength lies in his unsurpassed versatility! For the past two
years, André-Philippe has been on tour with international singing star
Celine Dion, entertaining millions of fans from Japan to Europe and
throughout the United States.
His two recent performances at the Stade de France in Paris proved
once again André-Philippe's unique charisma and talent with the 90,000
